DATA QUALITY is an annual peer-reviewed journal founded in 1994 by
a group of statisticians, information scientists, and quality practitioners.
DATA QUALITY includes original research papers and book reviews about data
and information quality. They range in scope from general interest to
theoretical. The first two volumes (1995 and 1996) are
available in print;
on-line publication began with the
1997 volume.
DATA QUALITY News is an on-line weekly newsletter that shows how data quality affects daily life. The editor abstracts articles from a wide variety of sources. (Obviously, we have no control over the way researchers, journalists, and editors of other publications obtain information and data. Most articles in the popular press are written from one point of view. And editors, journalists, and publishers have their own opinions and agendas). The News began in June 1997.
To tell us about a widely-circulated, previously-published data quality (DQ) or Information Quality (IQ) article, for example, in a newspaper, magazine, or journal like Science or Nature, please contact us by e-mail. We will also publish information about conferences, meetings, research and development, educational opportunities, and other DQ/IQ related activities.
